Customer Service Representative – HVAC

Position Overview

Reporting to the Service & Maintenance Manager, the Customer Service Representative is responsible for client relationship management. Build upon the existing solid book of business and to develop relationships with clients’ staff to ensure Cynergy is meeting the needs of the client for optimal service and maintenance duties.

Requirements

  • Build relationships with the Cynergy clients and develop relationships with new clients
  • Understand each client and ensure Cynergy is the first vendor of choice for the building HVAC and Plumbing needs
  • Contact clients on an ongoing basis to ensure clients’ needs are being met continuously
  • Develop a yearly expenditure budget for each building under the CSRs management
  • Meet defined sales targets / revenue goals to ensure financial targets are consistently being met or exceeded (for example, Inside Sales targets)
  • Develop realistic and achievable sales forecast for all clients in the Customer Service Representative’s book of business
  • Use of systems to regularly update accounts and have a solid understanding of smart phone Apps to effectively manage a sales funnel / forecasting
  • Identify and market Capital Retrofit projects
  • Effectively work with our Mechanics and team members to understand clients’ needs
  • Fast response time and sense of urgency

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar capacity in establishing and maintaining superior client relationships
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal) in order to communicate effectively to our clients
  • College diploma in either HVAC technology or any Mechanical focused program
  • Quick learner, the Associate does not have to come from an HVAC / Plumbing background but does require knowledge and aptitude for mechanical concepts
  • Able to understand and synthesize consequences of building mechanicals and effectively communicate those to key stakeholders
  • Authentic, personable and truly able to listen to customer needs and champion Cynergy solutions
  • Demonstrated sales expertise
  • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel in addition to advanced computer knowledge
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Valid G license and own a vehicle to visit clients
