Red tags are placed on heating systems that are no longer safe to use and need to be replaced or repaired.
Red tags (Furnace warning tags) are placed on furnaces by a licensed technician in order to indicate that the equipment is no longer safe to use and that it either needs to be replaced or repaired. If one of our professionals at Cynergy Mechanical Ltd. identifies a warning tag situation, they may also be required by law to turn off your gas supply so that those working at or visiting your business’ location remain safe.
All of our licensed technicians approach jobs with safety as their priority. For this reason, they only place furnace warning tags on appliances that pose an immediate danger to those in the building. If, after your furnace has a warning tag placed on it, this critical appliance needs to be repaired or replaced, we can then provide you with your best options and take care of any needed work.
